My Speaking Event
About Being on the Spectrum and My Vision:
I did it! I survived the event and it went very very well!
I even sold another necklace.
I got many compliments and in fact the gallery owner was so
impressed and touched, that she had me do it AGAIN just
before the closing of the Autism Art show - at the end of July.
Not only that, BUT I was interviewed to the local newspaper and my
pictures were taken repeatedly- and we all know how fond us,
Aspies, are of people taking our pictures...I still made it
through alive and well!!!
Yay!!
The article was on the front page of the Woonsocket Call paper
with my picture !!!
To read, go to the
press page.
Anyway, I said I'd post pictures, so here they are:

Me, standing next to my jewelry display at the gallery.

This one is "my" corner- most of my jewelry and paintings that
were hung up at the gallery.

My husband, Itzik, and I

My mother and me.
The reporter, deciding which piece would enter the paper.
Talking to the reporter.
Starting my speech.
The open discussion at the end of my speech was like a friendly chat
between the audience, my husband and myself.
